hi,
I could need assistance, please.
So we purchased a new GOODWISH theme copy. The update of the theme itself was completly successful, but when plugins (bundled plugins) were updated it broke the website, and I think the “Edge CPT” plugin is the culprit of the broken site. Because before updating the plugin on the wordpress admin dashboard on the left-side were presented the: Edge events, Edge testimonials, Edge carousel, Edge portfolio and the Edge option for the theme so basically all the theme features. But after the update of the plugin all these options was gone from dashboard, and consequently the broken site and the wordpress media library not loading (no files, no images). On the frontend of the website instead of these feature modules there were only seen shortcodes [/]. I had to recover the site from backups, what do you think it could be the issue? incompatibility? the WordPress version is 6.2 and PHP version 7.4. thanks!
Pd I want to send a screenshot but here no option for that.

Hi there,
It is a bit hard to tell from here, but please check if you have updated the latest version of the theme and its plugins. If you need instructions on how to update the theme and included plugins, you can refer to the following article, since usually people forget to update the Core plugins.
If this still occurs feel free to submit a ticket to our help center and one of our support agents will assist you and check this directly on your end.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have to do a maintenance of the website “https://www.avpo.cz/” that uses a “GOODWISH” theme from you. In the wordpress dashboard the theme has not been updated for 4 years or more (I thing from the date it was purchased). The problem is that I can not have access to update the theme from the account Envato/Themeforest where the theme was bought and the website’s owners do not remember who purchased the theme ( not idea who the purchase lincense has or how to get it ). Is there a way to find out who bought it from your database of purchases?
If I buy a new copy of the theme (goodwish) it will be ok to update the currently theme already installed in wordpress with the new one via FTP or from wordpress itself ?
thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t have information about the purchase history since the purchase process is handled by Envato. You can try contacting Envato Support to ask if they can share this information with you.
If you purchase a new copy you can safely update the theme by following instructions from this article.
Do let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, thanks for writing in!
Yes, when you purchase the theme, you get all you see in the demo – all the page templates, all the layouts. You can use anything you want and everything you see in the demo.
Let us know if we can help with anything else.
Best,
