Warranty
Knirps® is a manufacturer of high quality umbrellas and parasols. The products of the Knirps brand are known worldwide. We therefore provide a warranty of 5 years on all our products (from the date of purchase 01.01.2021).
The warranty includes, at our option, the repair or replacement of the product or the elimination of all defects that are due to material or manufacturing defects. You will not incur any costs as a result.
At Knirps option, the purchase price of the product may also be refunded, with the loss in value of the product being credited against the purchase price. Warranty service or replacement of parts will not result in an extension of the warranty period.
The warranty is valid worldwide. It applies only to the original end user (consumer) and is not transferable. Proof of purchase does not apply to promotional gifts. I.e. the consumer (industrial customers/B2B customers) can contact Knirps directly in this case to claim any warranty service.
Excluded from the warranty are damages caused by improper handling, wilful damage to the product by the user, transport damage, normal wear and tear or signs of use, functional and material defects due to external influences, e.g. hail, etc., as well as defects that only insignificantly affect the value or usability of the product.
Unless expressly prohibited by applicable laws in your country, Knirps shall not be liable under any warranties for indirect, direct, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the use or inability to use the product.
The statutory warranty rights for defects remain unaffected by the warranty.
